CAN YOU CLAIM FOR UNDERPAYMENT OF WAGES?
Questions abut your pay can arise either when you are doing a job and your earnings seem short, or when you have left a position and your final settlement isn’t right.
In either case, don’t rely on your memory to query your hours or payments. Collect any documents you have in your possession, including payslips, PAYG records, diary records and your contract of employment or a letter of offer.
Then discuss the matter with your boss or ex-boss. In writing is the best way. She or he may have made a genuine mistake and be happy to fix it.
